Here at the Lost Soles workshop, we see countless toe blowouts, and we are more than happy to make your shoes' toes like new. But what about all that hard work you put into breaking in those toe boxes? In order to prolong the overall lifetime of your shoes you should resole your shoes before you wear through the sole and into the rand. This will ensure that after resoling, your shoes will maintain that "broken in" fit in the toe area of your shoes and will allow you to obtain the maximum amount of resoles. We recommend that you resole your shoes when the sole is 75% to 80% worn.
